Rakhi Jain

INVENTOR.
CHANGE AGENT.
HUMAN RIGHTS DEFENDER.

Hi! I'm an aspiring environmental engineer, amateur art exhibition curator, relentless researcher and all-around adventuress.

Check out Haven Crafts, the artist cooperative I launched so that Pattachitra painters in India receive 100% of their profits and global exposure. And take a look at my exhibition Odisha Illuminated of their work which is being exhibited at three universities and counting.

Give me your thoughts on my inventions (patents pending!): an ergonomic chair to reduce fatigue for artisans and a dust suppression system for stone workers exposed to silicosis risks.

Read the pamphlet I published after interviewing human rights lawyers about youth civil rights, which was distributed to 30 schools in Odisha, India using grant funding.

And immerse yourself in my research. Whether the topic is microplastics, astrophysics or chainmail engineering, count on me to find the stone heretofore unturned!

When I’m not outdoors exploring new trails or lost in a good conversation, you can find me smashing shuttlecocks on the badminton court, twirling to Indian classical rhythms, whipping up intricate cakes, or scouting hidden gems on food maps with my friends.

Reach out! You won't be disappointed....
